Main Description: Manufactured by M47C BSA Shirley 1944, visible numbers match. Right side of receiver stamped with the letter S on the small flat, no visible letter T on the left side, butt socket has TR on the bottom left, top of wrist unmarked, bottom is unmarked, there is a S51 stamp behind pistol grip. Blade front sight with ears and ramp, adjustable milled rear sight, battle sight has been removed, blue/blackened metal finish, includes telescope sighting NO32 MK? (possibly MKI or MKII), marked HBM CO OS1650 REGD NO (number removed) with broad arrow, scope mount has a proof mark on left side appears as a rough casting, clear optics with intact reticle and leather scope caps. Four piece full military wood stocks, grooved rear handguard, pistol grip, wood cheek rest with blued steel screws, smooth grey alloy butt plate with trap, plate is cracked stock is chipped at heel, sling swivels and bayonet lugs.
Wear: Metal finish shows some scratches, handling marks and wear. Stocks show some marks, scratches and wear.

Switzer’s Auction does not guarantee or make warranties on any lot. We acknowledge that errors may occur, however we endeavor to give you accurate information in descriptions provided. We strongly recommend you personally view any item you bid on. No employee of Switzer’s Auction is authorized to make any representation or warranty, oral or written, with respect to any lot or item for sale. Switzer’s Auction will not return or refund money if an item is not exactly in the same condition as listed in online listing. Firearm ratings in the online listing are subjective and are of visual opinion, no mechanical inspection or test firing is undertaken by Switzer’s. Any concern must be addressed with a recognized gunsmith prior to firing any firearm.
CANADIAN BIDDERS: Firearm, Ammunition, and Cartridge Magazine purchasers require a valid P.A.L. (Possession and Acquisition License). All restricted and prohibited firearms are registered with the Canadian Firearms Program and will be transferred to the purchaser following the completion of the sale and receipt of full payment. It is the purchaser’s responsibility to determine that they have the correct category of license for the intended purchase prior to bidding. You will require a P.A.L. for all Prohibited/Restricted/Non-Restricted category firearms. No P.A.L. is required for Antique category firearms.
Cartridge Magazine, Ammunition and Firearms must be shipped to an address on file with the CFO.
Ammunition and Firearms cannot be shipped in the same box.
Ammunition will be shipped with UPS or Purolator depending on your location and restrictions. We must ship Ammunition to your address on file with the CFO.
Any items that are purchased that we are not able to deliver/ or you don’t have a valid license to possess will be sold at the next opportunity, regular commission charges apply to that secondary sale.
As we are selling Firearms, Ammunition and Cartridge Magazines, it is imperative that bidders/customers provide us their correct information. We require your full correct name as shown on your PAL, PAL number, date of birth, the mailing address that is associated with your PAL. U.S.A./INTERNATIONAL BIDDERS:
Please be advised that we cannot ship any sort of firearm, directly to USA or International buyers. Buyers must use a third-party exporter for these items. In our sale these are lots 1-6599.
We cannot ship receivers, ammunition/primers/primed brass, dummy rounds, bb’s and pellets, gun parts, air guns, inert munitions or grenades to USA or International buyers. In our sale, these are lots 4500-4989, 10000- 13999, 14500-14999, 19000-19999,21000-21999 and 28900-28999. These cannot be shipped by us or an exporter. Do not bid on these items.
Please understand your countries import laws before bidding on all lots. Each country will have different import regulations. We will not be held responsible if it is determined we are unable to ship your items to you. They will nee to be resold, regular commission rates will apply.

BIDDING: The highest bidder shall be the purchaser and the decision of the auctioneer relating to all matters is final. Pre-bids are time stamped and the earliest bid will win any tie situation. All sales are final and not subject to conditions. All merchandise is sold 'As Is' without recourse to the vendor. All goods advertised or displayed are subject to withdrawal prior to sale within the discretion of the auctioneer. The Auctioneers may reject a bid at their discretion without reason or explanation. Bid increments are fixed for online only auctions. Bid increments are fixed for the pre-bidding and maximum bid portion of Online/Live auctions. Once the sale goes Live the Auctioneer has the option to adjust the bid increments.
Placing your bid is your acceptance of all Terms and Conditions, Buyer's Premium, Taxes, Shipping, Pick up and Payment information. Please read them before bidding. Bid retractions will only be permitted when we have made a gross description error, obvious customer bid input errors ($5000.00 instead of $500.00). In the case that we must resell a lot to a back bidder you are responsible for the difference between your bid and theirs, there will also be a $50 administration fee charged, buyers premium and taxes.

CONSIGNOR BIDDING: Consignors are not authorized to bid on their own items or have someone bid on their behalf. We reserve the right to withdraw any items or bids made by the offending consignor.
LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY:
Except as expressly provided above, all property is sold “As Is'. Switzer's Auction nor the Consignor makes any representation or warranty, express or implied, as to the title, merchantability, fitness or condition of the property or as to the correctness of description, genuineness, attribution, provenance or period of the property or as to whether the purchaser acquires any copyrights or other intellectual property rights in lots sold or as to whether a work of art is subject to the artist's moral rights or other residual rights of the artist. All Firearms and Ammunition are sold as Collector lots only. Fitness to fire or otherwise discharge the Firearm or Ammunition is expressly denied by Switzer's Auction. A competent Gunsmith should be consulted before attempting to use or fire any Firearm or Ammunition. The Purchaser expressly acknowledges and agrees that in no event shall Switzer's Auction be liable for any damages including without limitation any compensatory, incidental, or consequential damages.
The absence of a condition statement does not imply that the lot is in perfect condition or completely free from wear and tear, imperfections, or the effects of aging. Specific condition requests can be obtained via email at admin@switzersauction.com. Any statement given is strictly an opinion and should not be treated as a statement of fact. Switzer's Auction shall not be responsible for any error or omissions in lot listings.
DE-ACTIVATIONS: We are licensed to perform de-activations. Prices to de-activate vary depending on the type and complexity of the work needed to be performed. We de-activate to the Canadian Firearms Technical Inspection standard, this standard may not meet the standard for export to foreign Countries. Please email admin@switzersauction.com for quotes to de-activate prior to bidding, minimum fee is $100.00 and can increase to $450.00 + for a complicated fully automatic machine gun. Firearms de-activated by Switzer’s will be reported to the Canadian Firearms Registry and once approved a letter of de-activation will be provided.
We sell firearms that have been previously de-activated by others, these may not meet current or exportable standards. Firearms de-activated by other may or may not have a “de-activation letter” available. We are not able to search for letters for firearms de-activated by others.
